In 2018, Volkswagen approached HTSB and asked if we could find startups with technologies that would make their production process more efficient. We succeeded. This was our first scouting project with one of the largest car manufacturers in the world as our first client.
Since then, we have supported more than 30 companies from 3 continents as technology scouts. The spectrum ranges from small and medium-sized family businesses to Fortune Global 500 companies. These companies differ not only in size, but also in their motivations for working with startups: some are looking for investment opportunities. Others are looking for technologies that they can integrate into their own products to become more competitive. And still others are looking for startups as potential customers for their own products and services.
Regardless of why and how a company wants to work with startups, HTSB specializes in identifying the right startups with relevant technologies. Our focus is on industrial high-tech: IP-based solutions, B2B and typically (but not exclusively) with a hardware component.

What we offer:
We offer On/Off Projects (Sprint) and a Subscription Service (Marathon).

SPRINT
Ideal for quickly finding startups with solutions to specific challenges. This includes researching relevant startups (longlist), contacting the most relevant candidates and collecting specific information (company profile) as well as organizing pitchdays where our clients can meet their top favorites (onsite or online).

MARATHON
Designed for clients who want to keep up to date with trends and new companies in specific technology sectors. This includes a monthly updated longlist and networking with the most relevant startups.

OTHER OPTIONS
Some of the corporates we work with are not only interested in finding the right startups, but also in gaining visibility and brand awareness. In these cases, we can complement our process with open calls to promote the corporates.
Another option is to partner with our HTVD program (including logo presence, social media campaigns and reverse pitches).
